We encourage all residents to take advantage of curbside recycling! Place your recyclables inside the red recycling bin provided by Apple Valley Waste and leave them at the curb in front of your house the night before your collection day.

The Jefferson County Transfer Station collects recycling using the “Single Stream” method. This allows recyclers to place all acceptable materials together into one bin or container. The recyclables are then transported to a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) where they are separated and prepared for sale.
